Newly Wed Blake Lively Tells 'Allure' She Would Like To Have 30 Children
The "Gossip Girl" star told the fashion magazine about her desire to have a very large family, months before her top secret wedding in Charleston, S.C.
Blake Lively graces the October cover of Allure. And call us crazy, but her interview now seems eerily well timed to hit the web just days afer she tied the proverbial knot with her Green Lantern co-star Ryan Reynolds.
But before we get into how blissfully happy she is, here are the latest wedding details that continue to leak out:
Christian Louboutin made her a pair of couture shoes for her wedding as a gift. Gucci sent the Gossip Girl star (and their new Premiere fragrance face) a bottle of custom-made perfume for her big day.
Movie mogul Harvey Weinstein’s wife, Marchesa designer Georgina Chapman, created Lively’s rose gold and crystal embroidered gown and of her bridesmaids’ dresses. The groomsmen wore Burberry with leather suspenders. Jeweler Lorraine Schwartz made both the bride and groom’s rings.
And, as you probably already know, the wedding’s design—from chandeliers to sofas--was created by none other than Martha Stewart and will appear in the December issue of Martha Stewart Weddings magazine.
As well as having her friend Florence Welch of Florence and the Machine, perform, Lively's guests included her dear pals from the film, Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants: America Ferrera, Alexis Bledel and Amber Tamblyn.
And as everyone knows by now, Lively and Reynolds wed at The Notebook movie filming site, Boone Hall Plantation, after dating for almost a year.
As if that weren’t all perfect enough, just a few months before her wedding, Lively told Allure: 'I've always wanted a big family...Oh, I'd love 30 [children] if I could," adding, “Right now, I'm so peaceful...I've never been happier in my life.”
Inside the issue, Lively is photographed looking appropriately countrified, holding a baby goat and wearing hot pants in a grassy country field.
If you really want to hate her, you will love the fact that she doesn't drink, has never tried drugs, and would rather have cellulite and eat ice-cream than be a stick-thin model.
“I obviously have plenty of imperfections on my body, but I’d rather have a little bit of cellulite and go do a food trip and try every ice cream place in the South.”
All we can say is, you, Ryan Reynolds, you are a lucky man.
