Greg Clayman would oversee business ops of iPad paper

News Corp. has tapped Viacom digital executive Greg Clayman to run the business operations of its planned digital news product for the iPad age.

All Things Digital's MediaMemo reports that he has decided to leave his post as Viacom's executive vp of digital distribution and business development to take on the new role.
At Viacom, Clayman's duties will be handled by a range of deputies.

News Corp.'s digital news product doesn't have a launch date or name yet. But the media giant recently picked Jesse Angelo, executive editor at its New York Post, to run the new digital product's editorial operations.
