Picks up Canadian tween series 'Connor Undercover'

TORONTO -- Nickelodeon Germany has picked up the Canadian tween series "Connor Undercover" from Shaftesbury Sales Company.

The broadcaster, which reaches 39 million homes in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, bought two seasons, or 39 half-hours, of the kids series about teen spy buff Connor Heath, played by Max Morrow.

"Connor Undercover," which is produced by Shaftesbury Films and the Heroic Film Company, secured earlier sales to Family Channel in Canada, ABC in Australia, France's Gulli and VRT in Belgium.

Nickelodeon Germany will debut the Canuck live action series on August 22.
