'Double Dare Live,' kicking off Oct. 30, will feature two teams composed of selected audience members competing to win prizes.

Double Dare is hitting the road.

A few months after Nickelodeon announced it was reviving the classic game show, the network said it is bringing the live stage tour Double Dare Live to multiple cities around the country.

The tour, produced by Red Tail Productions and CB Entertainment, will feature original host Marc Summers and his beloved sidekick Robin Russo. It's set to debut in Fayetteville, N.C., on Oct. 30 and will tour North America through November, travelling to cities including Cincinnati (Nov. 1), Charlotte, N.C. (Nov. 2), Baltimore (Nov. 3) and more.

Tickets go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. Friday. Fans can visit doubledarelivetour.com for a list of upcoming cities, times and ticket information.

Double Dare Live will feature two teams composed of selected audience members competing to win prizes by answering brain-bending trivia questions, completing messy physical challenges and ultimately facing the legendary obstacle course.

The game show returned to Nickelodeon this summer with a 40-episode order. Liza Koshy serves as host, with Summers providing color commentary. Nickelodeon says it now ranks in the top three shows among the kids 6-11 demo across all networks.

Double Dare originally aired from 1986-93 on Nickelodeon, making it the network's longest-running game show. Various iterations have aired in syndication on Fox and Nickelodeon, including, most recently, a Double Dare Reunion Special that aired in 2016 on Nick at Nite, commemorating the show's 30th anniversary.
