Actress Niecy Nash attends the 24th annual Women in Entertainment Breakfast hosted by The Hollywood Reporter at Milk Studios on December 9, 2015 in Los Angeles, California.

'As the Fire Pit Burns' stars the actress as a businesswoman on a trip who is forced to deal with her nemesis at the hotel they are both staying in.

Niecy Nash is set to star in a digital series for Marriott Content Studio and Above Average, the YouTube channel from Lorne Michaels' Broadway Video.

Nash — known for hosting Clean House and for her roles in Getting On, Scream Queens and The Soul Man — will star in the four-part soap opera As the Fire Pit Burns. The weekly web series premieres next month on the Above Average channel and on Residence Inn's website and social channels.

As Marriott Content Studio's latest initiative, the soap opera will capture the passion, excitement and intrigue of travel in a "humorous and dramatic way." Focusing on the personal and professional relationships between co-workers and their shared travel experience, the series stars Nash as a successful businesswoman staying at the Marriott's Residence Inn for a conference. But when her longtime nemesis and business competitor checks in, things get interesting.

"Above Average is home to some of the top minds for creating entertaining and comedic content, and we're thrilled to be partnering with them for this new digital series," said David Beebe, Marriott International's vp global creative and content marketing. "This series will showcase Residence Inn's commitment to creating the ultimate guest experience in a new and exciting way."

Nash has twice been nominated for a Primetime Emmy in her role in HBO's Getting On, including earning a nom this year, and won a Daytime Emmy in 2010 as a producer on Clean House. She also co-stars in Fox's Scream Queens, which had its second-season premiere Tuesday night.

Marriott launched its content studio in September 2014 to create content for "next-generation travelers" that "build worldwide communities of people passionate about travel." As the Fire Pit Burns marks its first collaboration with Above Average.
