Tracey Josephs has worked on such films as 'Slumdog Millionaire,' '12 Years a Slave' and 'Ex Machina.'

The Ink Factory, the U.K. banner behind hit spy series The Night Manager and a growing slate of film projects, has expanded its London office with the hire of Tracey Josephs as head of production, along with six new executives in its development, commercial and marketing teams.

Joseph joins from Film4, where she was also head of production and worked across titles including Slumdog Millionaire, 12 Years a Slave, Carol, Ex Machina, Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri as well as upcoming releases including Bart Layton’s American Animals and Yorgos Lanthimos’ The Favourite.

Other appointments include Amy Basil as marketing manager, Aaron Anderson as development producer, Jo Allan in the role of story worlds producer, as well as John Rowe as script executive and Alexis Hood as story producer. Chris Patey joins the commercial team as business affairs assistant.

"Joining The Ink Factory at this time is an amazing opportunity: Simon and Stephen Cornwell and their team are pursuing a smart, forward-looking strategy, and they are working with some of the world's most exciting directors and creators to tell stories that can reach a wide audience," said Joseph. "What could be more exciting than Park Chan-wook directing upcoming le Carre series The Little Drummer Girl?”

Earlier this year, Film4 lost it head of creative Rose Garnett, who was made BBC Films' chief. She was later replaced by former Kudos executive producer Ollie Madden.
