Night watch

Although it's usually not polite to stare, it was perfectly appropriate at the Sony premiere of "Perfect Stranger" at Manhattan's Ziegfeld Theatre on Tuesday -- "This is a movie about people who watch people, who watch people," said producer Elaine Goldsmith-Thomas, who introduced the film. During the afterparty at Tao New York, the film's Giovanni Ribisi remarked that acting, like voyeurism, is about putting on different masks, while director James Foley pointed out the obvious: "Watching movies is voyeurism!" Other guests included Sony's Howard Stringer, Amy Pascal and Michael Lynton.
