There's no day like Tomorrow for multimedia
EmptyNEW YORK -- Tribeca Enterprises and former RES Media Group principals are forming Tomorrow Unlimited, an artist curator and creator of multimedia platforms designed to showcase new artists.
CEO Karol Martesko-Fenster said the new venture will launch in May with events in three major cities featuring 10-15 "creators" timed to coincide with the Tribeca Film Festival. Each salon-type event is expected to feature art, video and mixed-media installations, gaming technology and musical performances.
The company also will develop online platforms with electronic roundtables and video podcasts featuring the artists they discover. Tomorrow Unlimited also will be available to host corporate marketing events.
Martesko-Fenster and new COO John Turk co-founded and operated RES Media Group for a decade. They will work with former colleagues Jesse Ashlock, Jeremy Boxer, Khris Kline and Sam Margolius at the firm.
The RES team formed the film festival RESFEST, the print magazine RES and the marketing services division RESLAB. Their previous ventures include independent film Web site IndieWire.com, Filmmaker Magazine and the college music festival CMJ.
"This new venture is an important component of Tribeca Enterprises' plan to create a network of global multiplatform properties," Tribeca Enterprises co-founder Craig Hatkoff said.
