Fashion Week Split - H 2015

Where's the mascara? Cat eyeliner? Bold red lips? Fall 2015's makeup look is as nude as they come.

While we're likely to see all manners of color, glitter and heavy lashes at the Oscars next week, makeup has taken a vacation on the New York runways — it's like the makeup artists were too cold to leave their houses (and who could blame them?).

At Yigal Azrouel, Thakoon and Altuzarra, there might have been a smattering or light dusting of nude lipstick and eyeshadow on the models, but you almost needed something beyond the naked eye to see it. Hair has also remained pretty low key, as models were seen in flattened greased hair, devoid of all texture (bye, bye beach waves — feel free to toss away that hair brush away, stat).

Think you'll save half an hour in the morning come fall? Forget it. A look this natural is the hardest of all to achieve. But at least you'll save a bundle on mascara.
