No stopping the forces of 'Evil'


Comedy Central and Bravo had two big premieres Wednesday night.

Comedy Central's new series "Lewis Black's Root of All Evil" drew 2.3 million total viewers in its 10:30 p.m. debut, making it the network's most-watched series premiere since the 2003 launch of "Chappelle's Show," according to Nielsen.

Meanwhile, "Evil" lead-in "South Park" drew 3.1 million viewers to its 12th-season premiere at 10 p.m. -- up 11% over Season 11's bow.

At Bravo, the fourth-season premiere of "Top Chef" at 10 p.m. drew 2.3 million total viewers, an 11% increase over the Season 3 opener.
