A viral video puts lightsabers in the hands of the police.

Over the past two months, there have been quite a few instances of police clashing with protesters. At times, the police have used mace and batons to break up the demonstrations. Hundreds have been arrested in New York and throughout the country.

The demonstrations started in September as protests against corporate greed and corruption. They have spread throughout the country, using the mission statement of fighting for the 99 percent instead of the wealthiest one percent. Celebrities have visited the protests to express their support, including Mark Ruffalo, Susan Sarandon, Michael Moore and Russell Simmons.

The tension between the police and demonstrators led to one viral video that moves to story into Star Wars territory. Titled "Occupy Wall Street vs. The Empire," the smartly edited video has the cops armed with lightsabers, and using them quite comfortably.
