Beckham Jr.'s catch, in which he seemed to only be gripping the football with three fingers but managed to hold on to it, was dubbed an instant classic by Sunday Night Football announcer Cris Collinsworth.

"Put this to music. … That may be the greatest catch I've ever seen," he said, watching a slow-motion replay. "You have to be kidding me. That is impossible. That is absolutely impossible what he just did. That may be the greatest catch I've ever seen in my life."
