'Old Christine,' 'Lipstick Jungle' new to Corus

Gwyneth Paltrow PBS show also picked up

TORONTO -- Canadian broadcaster Corus Entertainment has picked up Julia Louis-Dreyfus comedy "The New Adventures of Old Christine" and the NBC dramedy "Lipstick Jungle" for its female-skewing cable channels.

Toronto-based Corus will air the CBS series "Old Christine" on its W Network, Canada's women's 25-54 demo cable channel, while "Lipstick Jungle" goes to Cosmo TV, a second, younger-female-skewing cable channel run in partnership with the U.S.-based Hearst Corp.

Corus also added to its reality TV arsenal with the Canadian series "Eat Yourself Sexy" and "Anna and Kristina's Beauty Call" for W, and Frappe/PBS' "Spain & On the Road Again" with Gwyneth Paltrow booked for its Viva channel.
