Olivia Wilde Drama 'Meadowland' Nabbed by Cinedigm


In Reed Morano's directing debut, Sarah (Olivia Wilde) and Phil's (Luke Wilson) son goes missing, shattering their lives. As the months go by, they each struggle in their own way to cope. Supporting cast includes Kevin Corrigan, John Leguizamo and Elisabeth Moss

The film, directed by Reed Morano, will be released theatrically in October.

Cinedigm has acquired North American rights to Reed Morano’s dramatic feature Meadowland, which premiered at this year’s Tribeca Film Festival. An October theatrical release is planned.

The film, which marks Morano’s directorial debut, stars Olivia Wilde and Luke Wilson as a couple dealing with a tragic loss and also features Elisabeth MossGiovanni Ribisi, Ty Simpkins and John Leguizamo. Chris Rossi wrote the screenplay, and Adam Taylor contributed the film’s score.

Wilde also served as producer with Aaron L. Gilbert of Bron Studios, along with Margot Hand and Matt Tauber. Jennifer Levine, Jason Cloth of CW Media Finance, Alex Garcia, Santiago Garcia Galvan, Marla Rand, Scott Paterson and Lauren Selig are the executive producers.

The deal was negotiated by Cinedigm's Kristin Harris, executive director of acquisitions, with WME Global and Gersh representing the filmmakers. K5 is handling the film’s international sales.
