The Balmain creative director’s football-inspired collection is dripping in gold, naturally.

The internet didn’t have to wait long to see the full extent of Olivier Rousteing’s collaboration with Nike.

On Sunday, the Balmain creative director teased his NikeLab collab on Instagram, posting a gold logo on a black background, and now the full collection has been revealed.

The line, called Football Nouveau, was inspired by Rousteing’s longtime love of the sport — that’s soccer to Americans — and marks the second collaboration in NikeLab’s Summer of Sport series, but the designer’s first. And while he was putting his mark on athletic wear, Rousteing, of course, made it incredibly glam. We can easily picture members of his Balmain "army" — Kim Kardashian, Gigi Hadid and Karlie Kloss — working out in these pieces.

The entire collection holds to a palette of black and gold. “What I love about this collection is that we are integrating the iconic style of football into sport style,” Rousteing said in a release, which calls gold the “color of champions.” The clothing includes the pants and tops for men and women, plus the N98 Jacket x OR, featuring gold trim, gold zippers and an embroidered woven crest — the women’s version can be worn as a dress or a jacket.

The collection, which is available June 2 online and in select NikeLab stores, wouldn’t be complete without sneakers. It comprises four high-performance Nike shoes, each created in black and embellished with metallic gold accents. Rousteing has brought the bling to football.
