Opening Ceremony Is Inviting You to Lunch With Jonah Hill and Spike Jonze
Bids start at $5,500 for one of the label's new gift guide experiences.
Gwyneth Paltrow has new competition in the "ridiculous gift guide" arena.
Fashion label/retailer Opening Ceremony has just revealed its very own "CrazyCozyCool" list of possible presents, with an emphasis on the crazy. However, if you're in the market for some one-of-a-kind experiences and have a couple grand to spare, OC's selection of unique adventures is not to miss.
The gifts now up for auction include a custom piece designed by founders Carol Lim and Humberto Leon (with two complimentary fittings) for a cool $10,000, a live session with Los Angeles medium Tyler Henry at the customer's preferred location ($7,500) and a red wine bath experience for two at Aire Ancient Baths in New York City ($1,500).
New York-based fans can purchase a feast by Lim and Leon — aptly called "Carol and Humberto's Asian specialties" — prepared within the customer's home for $5,000.
And if you're looking for that extra-special something, Opening Ceremony is auctioning off a lunch with longtime collaborators Spike Jonze and Jonah Hill, who have each worked with Leon and Lim on multiple projects over the years; Jonze recently directed Kenzo's short film for the Kenzo World fragrance starring Margaret Qualley. All proceeds from the silent auction benefit 826NYC, a nonprofit which helps students develop their writing skills.
Bidding for the chance to dine with the two Academy Award-nominated dudes starts at $5,500 and is open until Dec. 23.
