Orange is the New Black's Michael Chernus will join Rachel Weisz and Michael Shannon in the untitled upcoming drama from Joshua Marston.

The feature, which Marston wrote, centers on a man (Shannon) who is deciding whether to follow his wife to a new state for her graduate program. The decision gets more complicated when an old flame (Weisz), a woman who often changes identities, reenters his life at a birthday dinner party.

Danny Glover, Kathy Bates and Azita Ghanizada, who starred in the Syfy show Alphas, round out the cast. Lucas Joaquin, Lars Knudsen, and Jay Van Hoy of Parts and Labor are producing.

Chernus plays Piper's (Taylor Schilling) freewheeling brother Cal Chapman in Netflix's Orange is the New Black. He recurs in the WGN America drama Manhattan and will return for its second season.

On the film side, he'll appear in the upcoming Cameron Crowe drama Aloha with Bradley Cooper and Emma Stone. His previous credits include roles in Captain Phillips and The Bourne Legacy, and he appeared in two films at Sundance in 2015, Noah Baumbach's Mistress America and Jim Strouse's People Places Things.

He's repped by UTA, Authentic and Chris Abramson.
