'Orphan Black' First Look: Sarah Under Arrest (Exclusive Photo)

Tatiana Maslany's clone character is apprehended by detective Angie Deangelis in the second season of the breakout sci-fi drama.

TORONTO – Canada's Space channel has debuted an episodic image from its upcoming second-season premiere of Orphan Black that has one of your favorite characters, Sarah Manning, under arrest.

In this exclusive photo, we see Manning, played by series lead star Tatiana Maslany, searching for her missing daughter Kira (Skyler Wexler), only to be taken into custody by detective Angie Deangelis (Inga Cadranel).

The new season, to launch on Space and BBC America on Saturday, April 19, at 9 p.m., finds Manning at odds with pro-clone Rachel, also played by Maslany.

Beyond the search for Kira, the sophomore run for Orphan Black looks to answer the mystery of the clone conspiracy underpinning the Canadian critical darling from Temple Street Productions.

Nashville's Michiel Huisman, Peter Outerbridge and Ari Millen have boarded the second season.

Patrick J. Adams and Michelle Forbes will guest-star.

John Fawcett, who directs and acts as a showrunner for the series, and co-showrunner Graeme Manson, share executive producer credits on Orphan Black with Ivan Schneeberg and David Fortier.

BBC Worldwide distributes the Space drama worldwide.
