The 11-time Academy Award winner's former home sits on an 8,000-square-foot lot.

Designer of the original Oscar statuette and 11-time Academy Award winner Cedric Gibbons' former Santa Monica estate is listed for $3.685 million.

Built in 1933 for the Gone With the Wind art director and his actress wife Dolores del Rio, the Southern Colonial home sits on an 8,000-square-foot lot in the Santa Monica Canyon.

The four-bedroom, four-bath home boasts oak hardwood floors, coffered ceilings, an expansive living room with exposed beams, large windows throughout the house's two floors — which provide lots of natural sunlight — and two fireplaces in its 3,300-square-feet of living space. Outdoors, a deck wraps around the palm tree-shaded second floor and the paved backyard is ideal for gatherings. The large, flat lot in the canyon holds adequate space for a luxurious pool to be added.

In 2006, the seller purchased the property for $2.9 million. Tami Pardee and Justin Alexander of Pardee Properties are the listing agents.
