Three days later, the actress will learn if she has won an Academy Award for her nuanced performance in 'Loving.'

First, Ruth Negga was nominated for a best actress Oscar. Now, the Loving star is getting an Oscar Wilde Award.

The Irish-Ethiopian actress will be honored Feb. 23 at the 12th annual Oscar Wilde Awards, the casual shindig that takes place three days before the Academy Awards at J.J. Abrams' Bad Robot production company in Santa Monica.

The filmmaker also emcees the event, and it was just announced that Chris Pine and Catherine O'Hara will serve as presenters.

Also being feted this year: Zachary Quinto, Martin Short, Outlander star Caitriona Balfe and Oscar-winning singer-songwriter Glen Hansard, who will perform as well.

The US-Ireland Alliance created the party to recognize the contributions of the Irish (and even some who aren't Irish) in film, television and music.

Negga was born in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Her mother was an Irish nurse and her father an Ethiopian doctor. She lived in Africa until she was 4 and then was raised in Limerick, Ireland.

In Loving, directed by Jeff Nichols, Negga and Joel Edgerton star as Mildred and Richard Loving, the real-life interracial couple involved in the landmark 1967 civil rights case Loving v. Virginia.

The US-Ireland Alliance has hosted several advance screenings of the film, including one attended by Negga in Beverly Hills in October.

"We're thrilled to honor Ruth," US-Ireland Alliance's founder Trina Vargo said in a statement. "I watched the film several times at our various screenings and found new subtleties with each viewing. The brilliance of Ruth's performance lies in the nuances. It's a role that requires the conveyance of emotion as much through a look as through dialogue."

Last year, Negga, 35, also was seen in Duncan Jones' Warcraft, the fantasy adventure based on the popular video game series. She played singer Shirley Bassey in a 2011 telefilm for the BBC, and her credits include Breakfast on Pluto (2005), Jimi: All Is by My Side (2013), World War Z (2013) and Iona (2015).

Negga returns this year as the feisty Tulip O'Hare in the second season of the AMC series Preacher opposite Dominic Cooper.
