The awards are being handed out Sunday night in Hollywood.

Big Hero 6 took home the Academy Award for best animated feature film on Sunday night.

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and Zoe Saldana presented the award to directors Don Hall and Chris Williams and producer Roy Conli. The Disney animated feature beat out The Boxtrolls, How to Train Your Dragon 2, Song of the Sea and The Tale of the Princess Kaguya to take home the Oscar.

After thanking the head of Walt Disney Animation Studio, John Lasseter, Hall reminisced: "Once upon a time their was a freckled face little boy that told his mom and dad that he was going to work at Walt Disney animation and they did something amazing — they supported him and believed in him."

At last year's awards show, Frozen took home the honor.

Neil Patrick Harris is hosting the 87th annual Academy Awards, which is being broadcast live on ABC from the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.
