Oscars 2015: 'Crisis Hotline: Veterans Press 1' Wins Best Documentary Short

The awards are being handed out Sunday night in Hollywood.

Crisis Hotline: Veterans Press 1 took home the Academy Award for best documentary short on Sunday night.

Jason Bateman and Kerry Washington presented the award to director Ellen Goosenberg Kent and producer Dana Perry. The short doc beat out JoannaOur Curse,The Reaper (La Parka) and White Earth to take home the Oscar.  

At last year's awards show, The Lady in Number 6, directed and produced by Malcolm Clarke, took home the honor. 

Neil Patrick Harris is hosting the 87th annual Academy Awards, which is being broadcast live on ABC from the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.
