'The Outsider' Trailer Brings Revenge to a Western Town

The film centers on a railroad worker who must fight a corrupt marshal.

Sometimes it takes an outsider to set things right, as the trailer for revenge western The Outsider proves.

The film centers on a railroad worker named Jing (Jon Foo), who comes to a Western boomtown in search of the American dream. He runs afoul of the marshall (Trace Adkins) of the corrupt town. Soon a tragedy sends Jing on a path of revenge and he teams up with a disgraced former police officer (Sean Patrick Flanery) to rid the town of the immoral group attempting to control it.

Danny Trejo and Kaiwi Lyman also stars in the western, from director Timothy Woodward Jr.

Woodward is producing along with Lauren de Normandie and Johnny Cleveland. Executive producers include Matthew Helderman, Luke Taylor, Joe Listhaus and Patrick DePeters. James Cullen Bressack serves as co-producer.

The Outsider is in select theaters June 14 and is also available via on demand and digital that date through Cinedigm.
