Paley Center for Media Sets Board Appointees Including Bob Greenblatt, Ted Sarandos

The media-focused nonprofit's string of appointments to its boards of trustees and governors also includes Nielsen CEO David Kenny and Univision Communications CEO Vincent Sadusky.

The Paley Center for Media — the nonprofit dedicated to celebrating the cultural, creative and social significance of media with locations in New York and Los Angeles — is staffing up its board of trustees and its Los Angeles board of governors. 

Joining Paley's board of trustees will be Anne del Castillo, commissioner of New York City Mayor’s Office of Media and Entertainment; Robert Greenblatt, chairman of WarnerMedia Entertainment & Direct-to-Consumer; David Kenny, CEO and chief diversity officer of Nielsen; Vincent Sadusky, CEO of Univision Communications Inc.; and Phil Spencer, executive vp gaming at Microsoft.

Joining the Los Angeles board of governors are George Cheeks, co-chairman of NBC Entertainment; Megan Clarken, chief commercial officer of Nielsen Global Media; Charlie Collier, CEO of Fox Entertainment; Brian Robbins, president of Nickelodeon Group; and Ted Sarandos, chief content officer of Netflix.

The Paley Center’s board of trustees is chaired by Frank A. Bennack Jr., and comprises executives in media and entertainment. Per the organization, "the board offers advice and counsel in support of the organization’s mission to lead the conversation around today’s rapidly evolving media landscape, and also provides key input on strategy and operations, including public programs and exhibits, educational classes, workshops and industry events hosted by the Paley Media Council." The Los Angeles board of governors "advises the Paley Center on its strategic goals and Los Angeles programming calendar, as well as commits their time to help the Paley Center forge new partnerships, and expand its constituency to ensure the Paley Center stays at the forefront of media and technology on the West Coast."
