Pam Grier, Rhea Perlman Join Diane Keaton in 'Poms'

Jacki Weaver also stars in the comedy about retirement community cheerleaders.

Pam Grier and Rhea Perlman are joining Diane Keaton and Jackie Weaver in Poms, the comedy about a group of women that form a cheerleading squad at their retirement community.

Celia Weston, Phyllis Somerville, 13 Reasons Why actor Alisha Boe, Ozark actor Charlie Tahan and Bruce McGill also star in the movie, which has begun principal photography in Atlanta.

Zara Hayes is directing from a script written by Shane Atkinson that is based on a story the pair co-wrote. 

Kelly McCormick, Alex Saks, Mad as Birds Films’ Andy Evans, Ade Shannon, Celyn Jones, Sean Marley and Rose Pictures’ Rose Ganguzza are producing. Keaton, Sierra/Affinity’s Nick Meyer and Marc Schaberg, and Will Greenfield are executive producing.

Sierra/Affinity, which is producing and financing, is handling international sales and is co-representing U.S. rights with Endeavor Content.
