Pang crafts trailer for Udine Far East Festival

HONG KONG -- Local director Pang Ho-cheung has created a trailer for the 10th anniversary of the Udine Far East Film Festival, a yearly paean to Asian cinema in the otherwise sleepy Italian city, the festival announced Thursday.

"I am very pleased and honored to make the trailer for the Udine Far East Film Festival," Pang said. "I want to thank them for their continued support and recognition of my works. They have provided the platform for me to showcase my works to the audience in Europe."

Pang's "You Shoot, I Shoot," "Men Suddenly in Black" and "Beyond our Ken" first screened in the West at Udine.

"Ken" stars Gillian Chung as a woman whose boyfriend puts nude pictures of her on the Internet after they split, mirroring the recent scandal in which she was embroiled.

Pang will present his latest film, "Trivial Matters," at Udine, which runs April 18-26.
