Paramount Pics France loses general director

Camille Trumer is stepping down after six years

PARIS -- Camille Trumer, general director of Paramount Pictures France, has bid adieu to the U.S. studio's Gallic arm after six years, Paramount Pictures International said Wednesday.

Steve Summersby, who worked in UIP's film distribution division for 18 years, will act as consultant and ensure a "functional operation" of Paramount's French arm until a new general director in the territory is named.

Trumer has not announced his plans.

"It was a mutual decision between Camille and Paramount Pictures International. We thank Camille for his contribution during his six-year tenure," a Paramount International spokesperson said.
