Paranormal Activity: The Ghost Dimension won't be dressing up for Halloween after all.

Paramount announced Wednesday that it is pushing back the release of the film from Oct. 24 to March 23, 2015. At the same time, the studio revealed the movie's official name (it was previously titled Paranormal Activity 5).

As a result of the date switch, the studio is moving up the release of Christopher Landon's Scouts vs. Zombies from March 13 to Feb. 20.

Moviegoers looking forward to a good fright over Halloween won't be entirely bereft: Universal opens the supernatural horror film Ouija on Oct. 24. As fate would have it, Jason Blum is a producer on both Ouija, an adaptation of the spooky board game, and the Paranormal Activity series.

Also opening Oct. 24 is Keanu Reeves action pic John Wick.
