The drama was due to air on Sunday night.

U.K. broadcaster ITV on Sunday chose not to air the latest episode of its new drama Jekyll & Hyde in response to Friday's Paris attacks.

The show was due to broadcast at 7 p.m. U.K. time and was expected to include a scene involving a "gunfight," according to Radio Times magazine.

"Tonight's episode of Jekyll & Hyde has been postponed in consideration of recent events in Paris," an ITV spokesperson said.

Jekyll & Hyde was the subject of an investigation by U.K. regulator Ofcom last month after more than 450 complaints were received over its first episode that was deemed "too scary."

On Sunday, CBS announced that it would swap episodes of Supergirl and NCIS: Los Angeles — which both involve themes of bombings and terrorism, respectively — for different episodes.
