Paris Hilton lands new reality show

Oxygen Media SVP calls heiress ‘magnetic’

"The Simple Life," part 2?

Paris Hilton will star in a new Oxygen Media reality show currently labeled "The New Untitled Paris Hilton Project," the network confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter in a statement Thursday.

“Paris is magnetic in such a way that viewers are naturally curious about her and think they know her based on what they see in the media,” says Amy Introcaso-Davis, Senior Vice President, Original Programming and Development. “We’re looking to truly bring an all-encompassing look at her life, friends, family, and relationships, all that’s not represented every day. It's going to be a fascinating journey.”

Cameras will document Hilton's relationship with her friends, including Brooke Mueller, who has twin boys with ex Charlie Sheen (who was arrested last Christmas in Aspen, Colo. and charged with domestic abuse following an alleged domestic dispute); Playboy playmate (and Fred Durst ex) Jennifer Rovero, who is raising two kids as a single mother and serves as Hilton's personal photographer; L.A. party girl Allison Melnick and Hilton’s mom, Kathy.

The news comes days after Hilton narrowly avoided jail time for a cocaine possession arrest last month.
