Participant Media Adds Chief Impact Officer
Holly Gordon will spearhead the company's social impact strategy.
Holly Gordon has been named Participant Media's chief impact officer.
Gordon, the founder of global girls' education campaign Girl Rising, will spearhead the company's social impact strategy through multiyear campaigns that are driven by Participant's content. She will report to company CEO David Linde, who made the announcement today.
Prior to Girl Rising, Gordon served as director of content for the Tribeca Film Festival.
"With social impact as a cornerstone of our business, we will benefit from Holly's leadership in activating on our mandate to inspire action among a wide audience on timely initiatives," said Linde.
Participant most recently released An Inconvenient Sequel: Truth to Power, the follow-up to Al Gore's 2006 climate change doc.
