Patricia Rockenwagner Promoted to Chief Brand Officer at STX
She previously served as chief communications officer for the indie Hollywood studio.
Patricia Rockenwagner has been promoted to chief brand officer at STX Entertainment.
In the newly created role, she will oversee all aspects of communications and marketing for the global STX brand, its strategic positioning and the company culture, STX chairman-CEO Robert Simonds announced Thursday.
Rockenwagner, who previously served as chief communications officer for STX, will continue to be a key member of STX’s leadership team and will collaborate with the studio’s film, digital, television and VR divisions to maximize brand equity.
“With the constant state of change in our industry and STX’s meteoric growth, it's more critical than ever to elevate our brand globally,” Simonds said in a statement.
Added Rockenwagner: "From creating the company brand architecture, to crafting our positioning in China and around the world, there is so much potential for telling our story of disruption and innovation.”
Prior to joining STX, Rockenwagner was senior advisor at Advance Vixeid Partners, the independent investment arm of Advance Publications and Condé Nast. She previously worked at Condé Nast, McGraw Hill Financial, Paramount Pictures, Time Warner Cable, Comcast and AT&T.
Rockenwagner began her career in politics, including working for the late Sen. Ted Kennedy.
