The "Grey's Anatomy" star is leading a group to save Tully's Coffee from bankruptcy.
Dr. McDreamy sure loves his coffee.
Patrick Dempsey, who plays the handsome medical practitioner on ABC's Grey's Anatomy, is leading a group to buy Tully's Coffee, a Seattle-based coffee chain that recently filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection.
According to the Associated Press, the actor says he’s excited to help the company's 500-plus employees and give back to the city where his fictional doctor works and resides. He also tweeted his excitement:
I hope we are successful in acquiring @tullyscoffee Be careful of using voice dictation!

Tully's has nearly 50 shops in California and Washington, and a number of franchised and licensed locations across the U.S. and overseas.
Any sale of the troubled coffee chain has to receive judicial approval. A bankruptcy hearing is set for early January in Seattle.
Grey's Anatomy is currently in the middle of its ninth season.
