Paul Walker's Death: Hollywood Reporter's Special iPad Edition Available for Download

The special edition includes the latest on the investigation into the car crash that killed Walker, never-before-seen photos of the actor and a tribute penned by filmmaker Gary Ross, who cast the actor in "Pleasantville," his first major movie role, at age 23.

The Hollywood Reporter this week released a special iPad edition commemorating Paul Walker, who died Saturday in a fiery car crash.

The edition features never-before-seen photos of the actor, the latest on the investigation into the accident, the history of the "batshit crazy car" in which Walker died and the thorny issues that Universal Pictures and its insurer are grappling with as they try to figure out how to move forward with Fast & Furious 7.

The iPad edition also includes a tribute to Walker written by Gary Ross -- who cast Walker in Pleasantville, his first major movie role, at the age of 23 -- that is exclusive to THR.

"When I think of Paul, I can't help smiling," recalls the filmmaker, who calls the actor  "boyish, exuberant, happy and surprisingly wise."

It also includes a look back at Walker's career, from Pleasantville to She's All That, Flags of Our Fathers and the Fast & Furious franchise as well as portraits from an exclusive THR photo shoot and exclusive video of  Walker, Vin Diesel and their Fast & Furious castmates.

Walker died Saturday at age 40 in Valencia, Calif., during a break from filming Fast 7. He had returned to Southern California and died when the limited-edition Porsche in which he was a passenger crashed.
