PCCW may list Now TV
Hong Kong telecom giant would float unit on GEMHONG KONG -- PCCW Ltd., Hong Kong's dominant fixed-line telephone operator, is considering listing its pay TV unit, a local newspaper reported on Friday, citing unidentified sources.
PCCW was likely to list its Now TV unit on the Growth Enterprise Market board because a mainboard listing required three years of continued profitability, the Chinese-language Sing Tao Daily reported.
Now TV was likely to have total assets worth about HK$1 billion ($130 million), the newspaper added.
PCCW managing director Alex Arena declined to comment, the newspaper reported. Calls to the company's public relations department were unanswered.
