Peace Arch eyes two indies

Seeks distribution rights to 'Explicit iLLS,' 'Two:Thirteen'

NEW YORK -- Peace Arch Entertainment is in negotiations for North American distribution rights to a pair of new indie features: Mark Webber's "Explicit iLLS" and Charles Adelman's "Two:Thirteen."

The drama "iLLS" stars Paul Dano, Rosario Dawson, Lou Taylor Pucci and Naomie Harris in a story of characters dealing with poverty and drugs while seeking human connection. Exec producer Jim Jarmusch's feature won the Audience Award and two cinematography awards at the 2008 South by Southwest Film Festival.

The cop/serial killer thriller "Two:Thirteen," which premieres at next week's American Film Market, stars screenwriter Mark Thompson, Teri Polo, Kevin Pollak, Dwight Yoakam and Mark Pellegrino.

PAE parent co. Peace Arch Entertainment Group purchased international sales rights to both films, and will present them as part of its new AFM slate.
