Pedro Perez Re-Elected President of FAPAE

Perez pledges to find new financing for producers in his fourth term as president.

MADRID - Spain's Producers Federation FAPAE elected Pedro Perez to his fourth term as president of the country's main producers lobby on Dec. 15.

Perez accepted the decision of the federation - comprising 13 associations representing more than 400 producers - saying he intends to focus his attention for his upcoming four-year term on facilitating liquidity for production companies seeking alternatives to the present financing models. Perez also said he intends to continue working to fight piracy in Spain via the development of legislation and a Spanish online legal offer for consumers.

Perez has held the post continuously since 2003.
