Pentatonix AMAs Performance - H 2015

AMA watchers got a glimpse of never-before-seen footage from the 'The Force Awakens.'

The force of a full orchestra was with a capella group Pentatonix as they performed a Star Wars tribute at the American Music Awards on Sunday. Harrison Ford introduced the group, and celebrated the legendary John Williams' legendary Star Wars score.

But before the musicians even took the stage, AMA watchers were treated to a teaser and an exclusive scene from the The Force Awakens. The scene offered a glimpse of Rey and Finn running with BB8 toward an explosion.

Then the quintet, dressed in Star Wars-esque costumes, began to sing an a capella medley of some of the more familiar melodies from John Williams' score before building up to the beloved "Star Wars Theme," lending their vocal harmonies to the instrumentals of a 65-piece orchestra.
