First performers announced for Grammys

Telecast to include interactive elements

NEW YORK -- Lil Wayne, the Jonas Brothers, Coldplay, Kenny Chesney and Katy Perry are the first performers announced for the 51st annual Grammy Awards, to be held Feb. 8 at Los Angeles' Staples Center and broadcast on CBS.

Perry's performance will be interactive. Fans can upload short videos of themselves singing along to her hit "I Kissed a Girl" to through Feb. 6. Voting will determine which of them will be shown during Perry's segment.

Each of the performers are nominated for awards; Lil Wayne leads the field with nods in eight categories.
