Perlman, Burrows get 'Carjacked'

Actors join cast of thriller directed by Dan Reed

Ron Perlman and Saffron Burrows will face off in "Carjacked," a thriller about a single mother and her child who are carjacked by a bank robber who has no intention of letting them go.

Sherry and Michael Compton wrote the film, which will be directed by Dan Reed ("Straightheads").

Albert S. Ruddy, Daniel Grodnick and Arclight Films managing director Gary Hamilton are producing, with Gerald Rafshoon and Michael Greenfield serving as executive producers.

Arclight will handle all international sales for the Clearview Prods. film. Pascal Borno, Arclight president of sales and acquisitions, is offering the film to international distributors at the American Film Market.

Perlman starred in this summer's "Hellboy II: The Golden Army" and is about to start filming "Season of the Witch," in which he'll appear opposite Nicolas Cage. Burrows appears on NBC's "My Own Worst Enemy" and most recently was seen on the big screen in "The Bank Job."
