The sneaker will be available exclusively at Colette.

What do Chanel and Adidas have in common? The answer: Pharrell Williams.

The musician-cum-fashion designer has been a Chanel ambassador for several years, and most recently starred in the ad campaign for the French fashion house's new Gabrielle bag, marking the first time Chanel has marketed an accessory as unisex.

And when he's not busy kicking it with Karl Lagerfeld in Paris, Williams is busy working on his ongoing Adidas Originals projects, including the Hu line, which he launched in 2016. Now, the 44-year-old is marrying the two projects with a new sneaker collaboration between Hu and Chanel, according to WWD

Williams customized an Adidas Hu NMD sneaker on behalf of the fashion house, which will be available exclusively at famed Parisian boutique Colette during Chanel's takeover of the store's first floor from Oct. 30 to Nov. 25. Colette will shutter for good on Dec. 30. Details about the sneaker, including the price point, have been kept mum so far.

This isn't Chanel's first go-round in the world of sneakers; Lagerfeld sent athletic shoe-inspired kicks down the couture runway in 2014. However, the new project definitely feels more in the vein of streetwear, proving yet again that luxury's infatuation with the trend is not slowing down.
