Picturehouse ups Albright

Molly Albright has been promoted to senior vp creative advertising at Picturehouse, where she will supervise and expand the ad department while overseeing the postproduction of each film and its elements.

Albright will continue reporting to senior executive vp marketing and distribution Arthur Marblestone in the company's Los Angeles office. She will work with Picturehouse's filmmakers and the company's president, Bob Berney, with whom she also worked at IFC Films and Newmarket Films before their joining Picturehouse.

At Picturehouse, she has been involved with the campaigns for "A Prairie Home Companion" and "Pan's Labyrinth."

Albright joined Picturehouse when it was founded in spring 2005 as vp creative advertising. Before that, she was director of marketing and postproduction at Newmarket Films, working alongside Berney from 2002-05 on films including "Whale Rider," "The Passion of the Christ" and "Memento." Her alliance with the executive began when she joined IFC Films' marketing department in 2001.
