Piero Giramonti Named Dangerbird Records President

The former WBR marketing exec will oversee all of Dangerbird's businesses including the label, home to Silversun Pickups, management, music publishing, merchandising, licensing, and a recording studio.

Piero Giramonti was named president of Silver Lake, Calif.-based Dangerbird Records,  it was announced on Tuesday, Feb. 1.

A music industry veteran who's held posts at Warner Bros. Records, most recently as SVP of Global Marketing, Sony Music North America, Epic and Virgin Records, Giramonti will oversee all aspects of Dangerbird's business including the record label, which is home to Silversun Pickups and Fitz and the Tantrums, management (Eagles of Death Metal, producer Tony Hoffer), music publishing, merchandising, licensing, and a recording studio. He reports to Dangerbird CEO and Co-Founder Jeff Castelaz.
