The director of 'Finding Dory' has found a home at the agency.

Andrew Stanton, the Academy Award winner behind Finding Nemo and Toy Story, has signed with UTA, the agency announced Monday.

This comes on the heels of the hugely successful Finding Dory. The film, directed by Stanton, raked in more than $1 billion in global box-office revenue and is the highest-grossing animated feature of all time domestically.

Stanton joined Pixar more than two decades ago, as the company's second animator. Since then he has written and directed some of Hollywood's favorite animated films, earning an Oscar nomination for best screenplay for both Finding Nemo and Wall-E. (Each won best animated film honors.) Now as vp, creative, Stanton oversees shorts and feature projects for the studio and maintains his role in the Pixar braintrust.

UTA will help Stanton pursue other opportunities in film and television while he continues his work with Pixar Animation Studios.

Stanton continues to be repped by attorney Skip Brittenham.
