Getty ImagesDonald Trump has released his first general election TV ad for his bid for the White House.
The spot focuses on the country’s safety, bashing his Democratic opponent, Hillary Clinton.
The Trump camp spent $4 million for the purchase in four states — Florida, Ohio, North Carolina, and Pennsylvania — according to NBC News.
The ad shows the dichotomy between the way the two candidates will run the country, claiming under Clinton “Syrian refugees flood in, illegal immigrants convicted of committing crimes get to stay…. It’s more of the same, but worse.” The ad then switches to Trump’s side, promising that the billionaire businessman will bring “change that makes America safe again.”
The ad will run Aug. 19-29, according to NBC News.
