Joe Biden will not seek the presidency in 2016, and it appears Donald Trump is somewhat relieved.
The vice president announced Wednesday that he will not launch a bid for the White House, saying that he’d “run out of time” to launch a successful bid for the Democratic nomination.
“But while I will not be a candidate, I will not be silent,” Biden said from the White House Rose Garden. “I intend to speak out clearly and forcefully, to influence as much as I can, where we stand as a party, and where we need to go as a nation.”
The outspoken GOP frontrunner took little time responding to the announcement, taking a shot a Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton in the process.
I think Joe Biden made correct decision for him & his family. Personally, I would rather run against Hillary because her record is so bad.

On Thursday, Trump posted a short video on social media of himself speaking at his desk, reiterating that he wanted to face Clinton and that Biden “did the right thing.”
Clinton has not yet responded to Trump’s comments.
