Donald Trump is feuding with yet another member of the media.
After John Oliver said Friday on CBS This Morning that he wasn’t interested in having Trump on his HBO talk show because he doesn’t “really care about him in any capacity,” the presidential candidate took to Twitter to respond.
“John Oliver had his people call to ask me to be on his very boring and low-rated show,” Trump tweeted Saturday about Oliver’s Last Week Tonight. “I said ‘NO THANKS’ Waste of time & energy!”
Oliver, who has not yet interviewed any presidential candidate on his show, told CBS This Morning that Trump has “said everything he has to say” and has “no internal monologue.”
Oliver also called Trump an open book, adding: “That book doesn’t have that many interesting words in it.”
During this year’s presidential campaign alone, Trump has feuded with such media figures as Megyn Kelly, Meghan McCain, Barry Diller and Univision’s Jorge Ramos.

The official Twitter account for Oliver’s Last Week Tonight responded to Trump’s tweet on Sunday with the comment: “A couple of points… 1. Yes, we have a boring show. 2. At no point did we invite Donald Trump to appear on it.”

A spokeswoman for Trump did not immediately respond to The Hollywood Reporter‘s request for comment.
