While Donald Trump accepted the Republican nomination for president on Tuesday, someone was erecting a border wall around his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
A miniature concrete wall was placed around his star, reports CBS LA, which was attributed to street artist Plastic Jesus. The wall is lined with barbed wire and has small “Keep Out” signs on the outside.
The wall is a reference to Trump’s plans to stop illegal immigration by building a border wall around Mexico and make the country pay for it.
Plastic Jesus posted an image of the wall on Instagram with the message: “Hollywood sight-seers on the famous walk of fame were confronted with an unusual edition to Trump’s Famous Star. Someone had built a 6” tall grey concrete wall around it. Complete with “Keep out” signs and topped with razor wire. The unofficial addtion to the iconic star appeared early Tuesday afternoon, to the amusement of onlookers.”
