During his Wednesday rally in Miami, Donald Trump took a moment to call out NBC’s Katy Tur.
While criticizing the media’s coverage of his event attendance, the GOP nominee drew attention to his “massive” crowd in Florida before pointing a finger at the camera with a message for Tur.
“We have massive crowds,” said Trump. “There’s something happening. They’re not reporting it. Katy, you’re not reporting it, Katy.”
He then repeated: “But there’s something happening, Katy. There’s something happening, Katy.”
This isn’t the first time the MSNBC and NBC News reporter, who has been covering Trump during the election season, has been publicly targeted by him.
During an August essay she penned for Marie Claire, titled “My Crazy Year With Trump,” Tur wrote a “no-holds-barred” account of her experience covering the candidate. She details Trump calling her “Little Katy” and pointing at her while calling her a “third-rate” reporter during rallies, and tweeting that she should “be fired for dishonest reporting.” In her epilogue note, she detailed the time Trump told her to “be quiet” on national TV, during the third day of the Democratic National Convention.

“It’s too bad those cameras aren’t turning around to see this incredible group of people with thousands more outside, isn’t it too bad?” Trump said during his media tirade at Wednesday’s rally. “If Hillary [Clinton] speaks and there’s 30 people in a line, they say, ‘Oh, the crowd is massive.’ She’s never had a crowd like this in her life.”
During the speech, Trump repeatedly called out the “rigged system” and attacked his opponent’s email activity, inciting “Lock her up!” chants from the crowd.
Tur tweeted about the rally, saying: “Trump really on an extended rant about the press now. Saying media has picked a president.” She didn’t address the mention of her name.
Others on Twitter, however, were quick to react. Yahoo News’ Holly Bailey tweeted: “Trump calls out @KatyTurNBC from the stage in the middle of a riff bashing media and now this guy behind me is just endlessly taunting her,”
