Hollywood erupted with cheers and jeers after President Donald Trump pulled his Obamacare-repeal bill on Friday.
House Speaker Paul Ryan and Trump announced they would be withdrawing the proposed health care bill once it became clear that the voting process would end in failure. The decision was seen as a major setback for Trump, who publicly vowed to fix the nation’s health care system throughout much of his campaign.
“We were very close, and it was a very tight margin,” Trump said from the Oval Office. “We had no Democrat support, we had no votes from the Democrats. They weren’t going to give us a single vote, so it was a very difficult thing to do. The best thing we can do, politically speaking, is let Obamacare explode.”

John Legend, Michael Moore and Mark Ruffalo were among those who took to Twitter shortly after to comment on Trump’s defeat.
“Congratulations to the #Resistance for win on Health Care,” wrote Ruffalo. Moore took a jab at the business mogul turned president’s deal-making skills in a nod to Trump’s 1987 book: “So much for the Art of the Deal.”

Thank you to all those who called their representatives and resisted ACA repeal in other ways. There’s more to do, but this is a real win. https://t.co/ZkycABBOXk

1) The reason he got no Dem votes was because #Trumpcare would strip 24 million of insurance and result in higher costs than Obamacare.

2) Blaming others when you control Congress and the White House is indicative of an utter lack of leadership and accountability.

Trump and Ryan were probably the kind of students who drop a course right before the final because they could afford to take the class over.
